Willis Junior Smith - Obituary Dunkirk - Former resident Willis J. (Smitty) Smith, 69, Waco, Texas, died Jan. 18 in Veterans Administration Hospital in Waco. Mr. Smith, who was born in Spanish Fort, Texas, moved to Dunkirk in 1941 and graduated from Dunkirk High School. He retired in 1968 after 21 years in the Air Force. He also had retired from Huck Manufacturing, where he worked for 15 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Holubec; four sons, Tony Smith, Mike Smith, Larry Smith and Patrick Smith; his former wife, Doris Ferrill, a sister, Cozetta Fraley; a sister-in-law, Myrna Smith, and 14 grandchildren. A brother, Ray Smith is deceased. Services and burial were at St. Martin's Cemetery, Tours, Texas. Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel, Waco, handled arrangements.
