Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, Friday, December 20, 1991 Stantonville, TN - James Harley Stanford, 75, retired farmer, died Wednesday at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Adamsville Funeral Home in Adamsville with burial in Milledgeville Cemetery. Mr. Stanford, the widower of Ava English Stanford, leaves a daughter, Daisye Faye Moore of Adamsville; three sisters, Virgie Benson of Adamsville, Hazel Butler of Savannah, and Delia Tacker of Stantonville; a brother, J.W. Stanford of Adamsville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
