Bio

Sister Clothaire Kosch, SSSF, 91, passed away on Sunday Aug 29, 2010 at St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport, Wisconsin. She was born Mary Alice Kosch on March 21, 1919 in David City, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Herman J. and Loretta M McGowan Kosch. On June 13, 1937, Mary Alice joined the School Sisters of St. Francis and professed her vows on August 12, 1939. As Sister Clothaire, she served her community as a teacher at various community missions. Sister Clothaire is survived by her sisters Imogene Perkins of Kimball, Nebraska and Catherine Dalton of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and her brother John Kosch of Loveland, Colorado. Sister is further survived by other relatives and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 73 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Sept. 3, 2010 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at St. Joseph Convent. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the School Sisters of St. Francis are appreciated.
