Bio

A collision on Highway 75 about four miles north of McKinney was fatal to two Collin county men Arlington Louis Chandler and R. L. (Bob) Hume. The two men were in an oil truck whose two rear tires blew out causing it to swerve into a passenger vehicle. The occupants of the passenger vehicle were not injured. The truck overturned in a ditch. Mr. Chandler (Find A Grave Memorial# 6496992), the driver, was killed almost instantly, but Mr. Hume was rushed to the City Hospital here he died later from his injuries on Wednesday evening at 6:15 PM. Son of John M and Nora Blackwell Hume Married on May 26, 1923 to Miss Ruth Organ. Son Jack Marshall preceded him in death in 1942
