Bio

John William Pearson was born on November 11, 1842, in Salt River, Audrain County, Missouri, his father, Thomas Shelton Pearson, was 20 and his mother, Eliza Jane Wilburn, was 15. He married California "Callie" Nidever on February 9, 1873, in Delta, Delta County, Texas. They had eight children in 19 years. He died on December 9, 1914, in Paoli, Garvin County, Oklahoma. John was buried at Paoli Cemetery, Paoli, Garvin County, Oklahoma.
