Buried: 02/05/03. Survived by wife, son, brothers. James Mark "Jim" Standerfer, 54, a maintenance supervisor, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Rosary: 7 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Chapel. James was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Gunter. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Sherman. He served his country in Vietnam and was a resident of Fort Worth for more than 25 years. Published in Star-Telegram on February 3, 2002
