Bio

William Wornstaff, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Wornstaff, was born in Union County, Iowa, Sept. l, l889, and died April 30, l903, aged l5 years, 7 months and 29 days. He was sick for more than five weeks and bore his sickness without a murmur and with patience. He said in the beginning of his sickness that he would not get well and wanted his parents, brothers, uncle William Burchett and others to meet him in Heaven. On Saturday before he died, he called his father to his bedside and wanted him to kiss him, then he wanted his mother to pray. After her prayer, he said it was all right with him and said he had been praying all day. He leaves parents and two brothers, one older and one younger, to mourn his absence. On Saturday evening before he died, he divided his effects between his brothers equally. Leon Reporter, Leon, Iowa Thursday, May l4, l903
