s/o Paul and Alvina (Trojan) Lucko (m.15NOV1905, Colorado Co., TX). h/o Erna Trojan (m. September 18, 1926). Thank you to Janet Bertram for the following: Funeral services for Walter August Lucko 76, were held Tuesday, Oct. 5, from Faith Lutheran Church, Weimar, with burial in Miller Creek Cemetery. Pastor Robert Cordes officiated. Mr. Lucko, a farmer of the Borden-Oak Grove area, died Sunday, Oct. 3, at Youens Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized for six days. Born Aug. 23, 1906, at Malone, Hill County, a son of Paul and Alvina (Trojan) Lucko, he married Erna Trojan there on Sept. 18, 1926, and they settled in this area. He was a member of Herman Sons. His wife survives, along with one son, Ernest Lucko, and three daughters, Gladys Pesak, Pauline Jones and August Ann Lucko, all of Weimar; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Lucko of Temple and Alvin Lucko of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Lucille Day of Fort Worth and Ann Young of Burleson.
