Patricia Nell Drake, age 87, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on September 18, 2017. She was born December 24, 1929 in Winningkoff, Texas, to Connie Lee and Mittie Agnes (Peace) Holmes. On June 28, 1947, Patricia married Lester Drake in Collin County, Texas. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney. She is survived by her children, Gary Drake and wife Janice of Cambridge, Maryland, Kathi Drake and Dale Swanson of Sachse, Texas, Jennifer Alguire and husband Chris of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Dusty, Niles, Richard, Elizabeth, Monica, Eliot, Nicholas, Sara and Landon; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Holmes and wife Emily of Granbury, Texas; many other loving relatives and friends. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Drake; parents, Connie Lee and Mittie Agnes Holmes; and brother, Donald L. Holmes. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 652 Redbud Blvd., McKinney, Texas 75069. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
