MARY M. CRONK HASTINGS - MARY M. (BARRY) CRONK, 76, of 1301 Welcome Road, died Sunday, Oct. 30, at home after a long illness. She was born in Carlton Township and had been a lifelong Barry County resident. She graduated in 1930 from St. Rose of Lima High School, Hastings, and received a teaching degree from Barry County Normal. She taught school two years in Barry County. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and St. Francis Cabrinee Guild. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, FRANK G. CRONK; sons, MARTIN J. CRONK of San Diego, Calif. and MARINUS S. CRONK of Hastings; a daughter, MARGUERITE ANN CRONK of Hastings; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, LEO BARRY of Kalamazoo and ROBERT J. and DAVID V. BARRY, both of Hastings. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Memorial donations may go to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Girrbach Funeral Home.
