Helen Oreada (Littlejohn) Welch, age 90, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011at Medical City Hospital in Dallas. She was born October 31, 1920 to the late Gus andEliza Littlejohn in Frost. She was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Robert Welch, and sons, Billy Joe Welch and Robert Earl Welch. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Welch and wife Diane, daughter Lynda Arnold and husband Terry Arnold Sr., and daughter-in-law Shirley Welch. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grand children and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Rex Bower, Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Oreada loved her family - momma, daddy, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, all their kids and extend families. She loved the Littlejohn reunions and the times they were all together. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Corley Funeral Home. Services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Alexander of Memorial Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
