widowed, daughter of Silas Hardester d. cert 7977 ------------ DELILA ROBERTS Mrs. Delila Roberts died at the home of her son Arthur Roberts just north of town on last Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. She leaves five sons and two daughters to mourn her loss. Four of her sons were present at the funeral. The funeral was conducted from the Baptist church on Sunday at 2 o'clock p.m. by Elder T.S. Rice. The remaines [sic] were laid away in the Novinger cemetery to rest until the coming of the Lord. The relatives have the sympathy of a host of friends who gathered at the funeral service to pay tribute of respect to the departed dead. The children and grand children extend thanks to those who assisted in the hour of sorrow. A friend in need is friend in deed. Novinger Free Press Novinger, Missouri March 14, 1913
