Bio

Miss Annie Jewel Shmoldas, age 63 of Lovelady, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Whitehall Nursing Center in Crockett. Miss Shmoldas was born March 19, 1947 in Camden, Texas and had lived in Houston County most of her lifetime. Miss Shmoldas enjoyed gardening, pets, coloring and her entertainment was watching television and listening to the radio. Survivors include her mother Rosie Steffek, of Crockett; sister Dorothy Whitehead and husband Ron, of Weldon; nephew Daniel Whitehead, of Weldon; numerous cousins and other relatives. Preceded in death by her father Richard Shmoldas; step-father Martin Steffek; and nephew Russell Whitehead. Private Graveside Services for Miss Annie Jewel Shmoldas were held Friday, January 14, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. in the Center Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Choice or Heart to Heart Hospice.
