Bio
Tom J. Clay, son of the Rev. Robert Clay, was born near Sandflat Church, Smith County, Texas. He was a member of North Tyler Baptist Church, Knghts of Pythias and Knights of Macabees. Mr. Clay died April 24, 1911, after an illness of several months. He was preceeded in death by his first wife, Miss Lena Murphy. He was survived by his second wife, Miss Annie Sibell; brother, Robert Clay; and sister, Mrs. J.S. Lavender. No living children. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
