Bio

Louise Hugo was born in Huppendorf, Westphalia, Germany to William and Caroline Hugo. In 1869 the Hugos emigrated to America and settled on a farm near Zionville, Washington County, TX. On December 9, 1886, Louise Hugo married Guss Siems. In 1906 Louise and Guss moved to a ranch near Star, where they lived until 1923 when they moved to Blue Ridge in Hamilton County. Louise and Guss were the parents of 13 children: Anna Siegmund, Bertha Wenzel, Walter Siems, Ida Ising, Emma Wenzel, Clara Peters, Martha Wenzel, Otto Siems, Meta Platte, Lillie Platte, Louise Limmer, Tilda Bottlinger, and Alex Siems
