Bio

Buried in the Methodist Section of the Greeley Cemetery, born in Greenock, Scotland, came to America in the 1880's first moved to Pennsylvania, then west to Rockwell City, Iowa then on to Mt. Pleasant in Greeley County where he and his wife bought their farm which was one mile west of Hwy 281 and directly next to their daughter and son in laws farm, Clifford and Jennie (Berryman) Allen.Was in the Greeley Store, they thought he had indigestion but they called the doctor to his home later that evening. He died soon after of an apparent heart attack at his farm 4 miles north of town.
