Bio

His mother Mary Polly Brock died from complications while giving birth to George. G.B. and Nancy Bowers were married on 24 April 1850 in Grainger Co., TN. by John Nance, J.P. G.B., Nancy and their children were last knowingly together per 1880 Grainger Co., TN Census. At which time Nancy was afflicted with lung disease and died in Morgan Co., TN while with family there. After her death, he went out West to live with some of his children and their families. Contributor: Fern Lea (47869072)
