DONALD AERY 1947 - 2011 STAYTON - Memorial service will be Thurs, Jan. 20th at 2:00 pm at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton, Oregon. Published in StatesmanJournal on January 18, 2011. OBIT: Graveside services for Donald L. Aery, formerly of Baudette, MN, will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Elm Park Cemetery- Veterans Park in Baudette, MN. Donald Leroy Aery was born at Baudette, Minnesota on the 3rd day of January, 1947. He passed away on Friday the 14th at his home in Salem. He was 64. The son of Charlie and Elvera Aery. Donald grew up in Baudette and graduated from Baudette high school class of 1965. He attended machinist vocational school in Staples. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He moved to Oregon in 1975 and had worked for his brother, E. A. Backhoe. He made his home in Salem. He was married to Kay Collins in 1994. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He is survived by his daughter, Stacie (Jeff) Wilson; grandchildren, Brayden and Jayme, all of Salem; sisters, Juanita Ellis of Baudette, Minnesota; brothers, Charles, Carl and Bill (Rebecca) and Bob Aery all of Baudette, Minnesota; brother, Eldon of Salem; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Ellis and brother, Charles Aery.
