Lena Like, age 101, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Comanche, Texas. Lena was born on December 10, 1920, to William R. an Early Estelle (Thompson) Durham. She was united in marriage to Frank Like in Jack County on April 14, 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Gustine, Texas. During her lifetime, Lena experienced travelling across Texas in a covered wagon to modern day vehicular travel. She was a quilter and enjoyed crocheting, playing dominoes and gardening. She is survived by her granddaughter, Amie Caroline Eilers; three great-grandchildren, Lainey, Hunter, Nakota; special care givers, Sandra Stepken and Kenneth Braim; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; numerous great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Like; daughter, Neva Sue Eilers and husband, Larry; parents, William R. and Early Estelle (Thompson) Durham; brothers, William E. Durham and David Durham; sisters, Ruby Crews, Rilla Briam, Mary Lou Briam, and Lillie Rowland.
