James L. Furman, 64, car salesman, died Friday. Service 4 p.m. Monday, First Presbyterian Church. Survivors: wife, 3 sons; stepmother (of Stillwater, Okla.; brother, Al of Stillwater; sister, Betty Akins of Sherman, Texas; seven grandchildren. Memorials have been established with the American Cancer society for kidney cell carcinoma and First Presbyterian Church. Frank funeral Home. (the Wichita Eagle, 12 January 1986)
