Bio

Daughter of John and Hulda Ream Saddoris. Death certificate said cause of death at age 15 was Cerebrospinal meningitis. She was buried in a family plot where her grandparents Margaret Kirby and Henry Clay Saddoris Sr. were buried in 1902-03. The death records name the location of her burial in 1891 as Folger Grave Yard. It is now called Fremont Cemetery and records suggest that in 1891 that the Fremont M.P. Church was established at the edge of the burial ground. The church closed in the early 1950's. In 2025, at the death of one of the last Fremont Church goers, the leftover funds from the old church cemetery were passed along to the Trustees of Fremont Township. A separate savings account was opened to keep the funds separate and easily accounted for.
