Bio

Wife of Robert Stewart. Children listed on census records (1870 and 1880) with Leathy and Robert: Joseph, James, Thomas, Lonzo, McMillon "Mack", Samantha, Leatha Jane and Marjorie. She applied for Confederate pension on 10-14-1899 which was denied because she was not indigent, owning a house and 110 acres of land. In the application she relates she and Robert were married in 1844, but Georgia marriage records relate they married on January 31, 1850 in DeKalb, Georgia.
