first married 1938, divorced 1971 to Ruby Faye Loftice W.L. "Med" Medcalf, a resident of Princeton, died Jan. 29, 1999, at North Central Medical Center in McKinney. He was 79. Mr. Medcalf was born June 14, 1919, in Melissa to Willie Taten and Iva Caroline Rollins Medcalf. He married Nettie Medcalf on Jan. 31, 1976, in Culleoka. He worked in general maintenance. Survivors include his wife, Nettie Townley Medcalf of Princeton; daughters, Wanda Sue Marshall and Lynda Faye Young, both of Princeton; stepdaughters, Sarah Pollock of Anna and Carolyn Parker of St. Joseph, Mo.; stepson, Wayne Townley of Dallas; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
