Bio
RUTH M. "GRANNY" STOREY born October 25, 1915 went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2006. She was a lifetime resident of the North Side of Houston, and a longtime member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Porter. Ruth is survived by her loving daughters, Barbara Shapley, and Cecilia Williams; grandchildren, Cindy Thornby, Chris Kelley, Celeste Broughton, Johnny Thompson, Jennifer Harper, and Sarah Lind, numerous great grandchildren, and other loving family & friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2006 at 5:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Brookside Chapel Of Chimes. Interment to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
