He is buried in a lot owned by Merrill Wickham - the same lot where his first wife Angeline was buried in 1901. The county death record gives the age as 2y 4m, cause of death diphtheria, but does not give parents' names. The Losey & Dean mortuary record has the same information, no parents, and the bill was rendered to Sid Hockridge, whose wife Lauretta was Merrill's sister. There is a Crow Wing county birth record for an unnamed child born 02 Jan 1890 to W Wickham & H Harmon, b. IN & NS. This child would be 2y 5m old. Off by a month but not uncommon. W is Merrill's middle initial and Hamrin is Angeline's maiden name. ---------------------------------------- The creator of this memorial used information from the cemetery's website and didn't mention the age of the child in the bio. Several people decided that this must be the adult Joseph married to Rachel Jane living in Lexington Township, Le Sueur county. One of those people submitted birth info for this presumed adult (born NY in 1813) and assumed parents (William and Catherine). So now, many people are INCORRECTLY CITING this memorial for the adult Joseph's death.
