Bio
Larry was born on February 3, 1950 in David City, Nebraska to Albin and Lorraine (Polacek) Prochaska. He graduated from Aquinas High School in 1968. On November 13, 1971, Larry was united in marriage to Janet Baack at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Staplehurst, Nebraska. They farmed near Staplehurst until his death on January 9, 2011, at the age 60 years, 11 months and 6 days. Larry had a love for old IHC tractors and old cars, he enjoyed restoring tractors and going to tractor shows. He is survived by his wife, Janet Prochaska; sons and their wives, Scott and Becky Prochaska of Ulysses, Nebraska and Kevin and Amy Prochaska of Gretna, Nebraska; daughter and her husband, Angie and Chris Grojean of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Carson Prochaska, Molly Prochaska, Sage Prochaska and Case Prochaska; sister and her husband, Leanne and Gene Gehle of Seward, Nebraska; brothers and their wives, Ronald and Julie Prochaska of Seward, Nebraska and Todd and Vickie Prochaska of Seward, Nebraska; mother-in-law, Leora Baack of Seward, Nebraska; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlene and Lloyd McCarter of Warrensburg, Missouri, James and Virgina Baack of Auburn, Nebraska and Kathy and James Eberly of Milford, Nebraska. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin Prochaska; sister, Sherry Prochaska; father-in-law, Clarence Baack.
