Bio

COLUMBIA (Special) — Services for Larkin Pugh, 78, of Pineville, were at 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home. Burial was in the Welcome Home Cemetery. Mr. Pugh died Thursday in St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria after a long illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Berdie [ sic Verdie] Pugh, Pineville; two sons, Winfred Pugh of Alexandria and Odell Pugh of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Showers of Alexandria and Mrs. Joy Eason of Leesville; two brothers, Algie Pugh of Texas and Major Pugh of Ban, Tex.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
