Bio

Charles Urshon Cooley of Merryville died February 5 in an automobile accident near Silsbee Texas. He was 20 years old. Funeral services were held February 8 at Three Pines Pentecostal Church with the Rev J B Kimball officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery with Hixson's Funeral Home of DeRidder in charge. Mr. Cooley is survived by his wife Mrs. Charles U Cooley and two children Carlton Haywood and Helen Yvonne all of Merryville, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cooley of DeRidder, four sisters Mrs. Etauh Woodard and Mrs. Yvonne Wisby of Abbeville, Mrs. Joan Milstead of DeRidder, and Mrs. Norma V Davis of Wadsworth Ohio, a brother Coleman Cooley of DeRidder, grandparents Rev. and Mrs. Thomas J Cooley of DeRidder. and Mrs. Travis Simmons all of DeRidder.
