Bio
Glen H. Werner of Highland passed away peacefully, Tuesday February 9, 2009. Glen was born in American Fork on August 16, 1930. He was the son of Harold and Verna Werner. Glen served his country in the U. S. Air Force during Korean War and was stationed in Okinawa for four years. He married his "sweetie" Beth Barratt on November 5, 1994. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Kent Werner, and a daughter, Sharon Werner. He is survived by his wife Beth of Highland; sister, Carol (Mel) Terry, Marysville, UT; sons: Carl Werner, Springville, Scott (Vicky) Werner, Santa Clara, UT; Craig (Deanna) Werner, Orem; David James, Springville; Michael Werner, Provo; daughter, JoLynn (Todd) Skousen, Draper; step-sons: Ted (Jennifer) Barratt, American Fork; Stephen (Claudette) Barratt, Highland; and Randy (Jill) Barratt, Lehi and many loving grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Friends may call for a viewing prior to services at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove from 10-10:45 a.m. Military honors conducted by American Legion Post 72.
