Bio

Billy Osborn, 78, of Burnsville, MS, died Sunday, January 09, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center - Tupelo. He was an U.S. Army veteran, and was a retired machinist for TVA. He enjoyed farming, and spending time with his family. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, January 11 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Allen Osborn and Buddy James will give the eulogy. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jacob Osborn, Lesle Osborn, Billy Russell Osborn, Josh Osborn, Dillon Rorie, and A.H. Roaten. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edra Osborn of Burnsville; 2 sons – Stevie Osborn (Michelle) and Mitchell Osborn (Mary), both of Burnsville; 3 daughters – Tracy Roaten (Daniel) of Iuka; Andrea Tackett (Jack) of Burnsville; and Allison Rorie (Terry) of Burnsville; 2 sisters – Shelby Grisham (Bobby) of Florence, AL and Shirley James (Buddy) of Iuka; 1 sister-in-law – Ruby Gaye Lambert of Chicago, IL; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents, Homer and Elle Mae Osborn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Fund
