Esther L. Perry, 91, of Waco, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at a local nursing home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Riesel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at Bellmead Funeral Home. Esther Louise was born in Riesel, to the late Henry and Lydia Schroeder. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Woodway. Esther was a cafeteria supervisor for St. Mark's School and was a seamstress most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Preston Perry; grandson, Keith Perry; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Perry and wife, Kathy, and Loyd Perry, both of Waco, and Preston Perry, of Houston; grandchildren, Rebecca Perry, Karen Zavala and husband, Johnny, Jennifer Tindell and husband, Brad, Joe Perry, Bridget Meleski and husband, Brian and Heather Laperouse and husband, Stuart; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Kocian and Evelyn Huschka; brother, Gilbert Schroeder; and many other loving family members and friends.
