JR served in the United States Army. He retired from International Harvester. He owned JAM Trucking. Employed by Young Chevrolet in fleet sales. He was a member of R.C. Buckner Lodge #1176. Survived by wife, Melba; one daughter; one son; two brothers; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
