Dorothy Maude Lynd passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, in San Andreas, Calif., at the age of 92 years. Service: 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 3717 Stadium Drive, Fort Worth. Inurnment will be in the Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. She was born June 5, 1918, to Hugh and Virginia Kennington White in Dallas. Dorothy married Lawrence Lynd on Sept. 12, 1936, in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Robert Lynd Sr.; daughter, Melissa Ann Tomlinson; brothers, Hugh Timothy White Jr. and James Edwin White; and sister, Foley Marie Biggar. Survivors: Her children, Lawrence Robert Lynd Jr. of Garland, Harry Price Lynd of Rail Road Flat, Calif., Deborah Jane Bowen of Fort Worth; sisters, Juanita Marguerite Young of Euless, Virginia Alice Skelton of Dallas; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Stephen, Lawrence Robert III, Virginia Elizabeth Lynd, Christopher, Roma Tomlinson, Quincy Graeber, John David, Amy Kathleen Bowen, Tisha Lynd Gregory; and 15 great-grandchildren.
