Loriece McPherson Born in Ashland, Texas on Dec. 23, 1915 Departed on Jan. 6, 2011 and resided in Longview, TX. Rader Funeral Home Obituary Graveside services for Loriece McPherson, 95, of Longview will be held at the Hallsville Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Reverend Virginia Wall officiating, The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Mrs. McPherson passed away Thursday, December 6, 2011 in Longview. Mrs. McPherson was a member of the Wesley McCabe Methodist Church for 65 years and loved her Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was born in Ashland, Texas on December 23, 1915 to Gordon Riden and Effie Riden. She graduated from Diana schools and worked for sixty years as a beautician in Longview. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Garland McPherson; son Garland Riden McPherson; and sister Maurice Riden. Mrs. McPherson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Wehlan and Ann McPherson of Hallsville; sister Bonnie Herald of Everett, WA.; granddaughters Bonnie Freeman and her husband Wesley, Tammy McPherson; grandsons Dusty McPherson and wife Nicole, Brandy McPherson and wife Stacie, Clint McPherson and wife Mellissa, all of Longview, Douglas McPherson and wife Sandy of Littleton, Massachusetts; great grandchildren are Ben and Kevin McPherson of Littleton, Massachusetts, Colly, Spencer, Caleb, Hunter and Laker all of Longview. Pallbearers will be Brandy, Clint, Dusty McPherson, Wesley, Ryan, and Aaron Freeman. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley McCabe Methodist Church or to Heart's Way Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff of Summer Meadows Nursing Home.
