Bio
Daughter of Robert Washington Jolly and Susan Arilla Cain Wife of Amos Grimshaw m. 1891 Services for Mrs. Amos (Zona Frances) Grimshaw were held in the First Baptist Church at DeLeon with Rev. Dan Kent, pastor, officiating assisted by Rev. Darrell Dossey of Desdemona. Mrs. Grimshaw was the daughter of the later Robert W. and Susan (Cain) Jolly. She had been a member of the Baptist church for 65 years. Mrs. Grimshaw passed away in the DeLeon Nursing home as the age of 88 years, one month, six days of age. Mrs. Grimshaw was married to Amos Grimshaw on 12 August 1891 and was preceded in death by him in 1943. She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Grimshaw. Survived by three sons, Fitzhugh Lee, J.J. and George Olen Grimshaw; four daughters, Mrs. H.W. Johnson, Mrs. W.T. Carruth, Mrs. S.G. Bridges, Mrs. D.W. Sadler; two sisters, Mrs. Ona Posey and Mrs. G.W. Lewis; 19 grandchildren; 40 great grand children; two great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons were pallbearers: Billy Carruth, Bobby Grimshaw, Charles W. Grimshaw, Robert Bridges, Roy Johnson and Jay Grimshaw.
