Bio

Rev. Ira Jordan Taylor, 77. of Pensacola, died Tuesday morning, January 30, 1990 at his home. Rev. Taylor was a native of Wausau, WI and had lived in Pensacola most of his life. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and a retired Minister with the Assemblys of God Faith. Survivors include: his wife, Ernestine Taylor; two sons, Edward Taylor, Rev. Raymond Taylor; two daughters, Myrle Chisholm, JoAnn Reinolds; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas L. Taylor, Rev. J.W. Taylor, Joe Taylor; a sister, Thelma Walden; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in First Assembly of God Church with the Re. Bill Franklin, Rev. Robert Gatlin and Rev. James Courtney offciating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
