Berniece Riddle COMMERCE - Berniece Riddle, 96, longtime resident of Commerce died Monday at Oak Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Roy Lee Dittmar and Rev. Richard Diggs officiating. Burial is in Rosemound Cemetery. The daughter of Sarha Alice Allen and Herbert Chance, she was born June 6, 1903 in Hopkins County. Mrs. Riddle was a farmer's wife and a nurse's aid. She was a member of Congregational Methodist Church. She is survived by granddaughter and husband Sonja and Randy Kuykendall of Yantis, great-granddaughter Janeen Doolin of Mesquite and great-grandson Lee Doolin of Commerce. She was preceded in death by her first husband Bill Pierce in 1944; second husband Bob Riddle in 1987; a daughter, Allene Mathews in 1969; three sisters and seven brothers. Pallbearers are Steve Blevins, James Dickson, Bill Kennedy, Rogene McCrummen, Margaret Porter and Dick Walker. Golden Girls are honorary pallbearers.
