Services for Miss Mary Arvin, 51, were held in the Cottonwood Church of Christ officiated by Roy J. Clark, the local minister. Miss Arvin was a rancher and a resident of the Cottonwood community all of her life. Survived by six sisters - Mrs. W.E. Richardson, Mrs. Minnie Nessmith, Mrs. Joe Higgins, Mrs. Homer Bennett, Mrs. W.B. HIggins; three brothers - M.A. Arvin, Joe Arvin, Coats Arvin. Baird Star August 30, 1953
