================================================ Funeral services for Larry Gene Miller are set for 10 AM Monday, December 27, 2010, at Creekside Christian Fellowship, 16628 HWY 46, Needville, TX 77461, with Pastor Greg Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in Cesinger Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8:00 PM Sunday, December 26, 2010, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461. Larry Miller(Popeye), age 53, of Guy, Texas, passed on Wednesday December 22, 2010 in Guy, TX. Born in East Bernard March 20, 1957, he was the son of John and Vlasta Miller. He is preceded by his parents and his brothers Henry James Miller and Kenneth (Jake) Miller, father-in-law Charlie Winkelman, and brother-in-law Bill Patke. Larry was a beloved husband to his wife of 34 years, Charlene Miller, and a dedicated father to his daughters Amanda Lynn Miller, Amber Dawn Miller, and Alyssa Ann Miller. He is survived by his brothers Allen Miller and wife, Trisha, John (Rusty) Miller and wife, Rose, Ricky Miller and wife, Cathy, Michael Miller and wife, Linda, Ronnie Miller and wife, Denise, Mark Miller and wife, Carol, his sisters Shirley Grant and husband, Jimmy, and Cathy Patke, brother and sister-in-laws, Robert & Diana Tydlacka, James & Gayle Horak & Vickie Maresh, brother-in-law Lee Winkelman and wife,Jenny, father & mother-in-law Calvin (Buster) & Shirley Zimmerman, and mother-in-law Geraldine Winkelman, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was a loving husband, father, uncle, cousin, friend and was soon to be a grandpa. He was a carpenter that took great pride in his work. He loved going out to our pasture where we held our family gatherings. Larry was all about spending time with his family. Serving as Pallbearers will be Cody Miller, Steven Miller, Josh Duncan, Robert Harrigan, Jeremy Lindemann, Kevin Salas, and Thomas Krenek. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Duncan and Kenny Groze.
