American Press, Tuesday, May 03, 1983; Page: 2 HARLEY AUSTIN Funeral services for Harley Austin, 75, of Rt. 11, Box 284, Moss Bluff, will be at 3 p.m. today, May 3, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder. The Revs. M.D. Treece and Millard Seale will officiate. Burial will be in Whittaker Cemetery in DeRidder. Mr. Austin died at 8:05 a.m. Monday in a local hospital. A native of DeRidder, he was a retired carpenter, and a member of Carpenters Local 953. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gail Andrus of Lake Charles; five brothers, Mallie, Cecil, Aubrey, Bennett and George Young, all of DeRidder, and two grandchildren.
