Bio

Maggie married Delos Elmo Parks 23 May 1923 in Crosby Co., TX and had son L. D. Parks in late 1924. Delos died in 1938. Maggie later married Luther A. Hindman in May 1943 in Hockley Co., TX. Luther died in May 1952. In December 1952, Maggie married Riley Thacker in Stonewall Co., TX, Riley died in 1968. OBIT: CLARKSVILLE - Maggie Lee Thacker, 96, of Clarksville, died Thursday, March 7, 2002 at Clarksville Nursing Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Avery United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pete Adrain officiating. Burial will be in Lydia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church. She was born in Hopkins County on Feb. 21, 1906, to Edward and Mattie Johnson Horn. She was a Baptist. Surviving are a son, L.D. Parks of Avery; a brother, Lee Roy Horn of Wichita Falls, five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
