CARLSBAD CURRENT-ARGUS Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico January 10, 1989 DONALDSON Services for Clifford A. Donaldson, 72, 602 Beltros St., are pending at West Funeral Home. He died at his home today. He was Melvern, Ark., on Oct. 16, 1916, and was raised and educated in Arkansas. He moved to Phoenix, Ariz., in 1941 where he began trucking for Bekins, driving for 31 years. He retired in 1979 and moved to Carlsbad. He was a member of the BPOE Elks 1558 and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Survivors include his wife, Toni, Carlsbad; two sons, George E. Donaldson, Phoenix, and Kelly Bell, Carlsbad; one daughter, Virginia Thompson, Scottsdale, Ariz.; two brothers, Max Donaldson, Rockport, Texas, and Harold Donaldson, Buena Park, Calif.; one sister, Cora Lee Srandstaff, Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. DONALDSON Graveside service for Clifford A. Donaldson, 72, 602 Baltros st., who died at his home Jan. 10, is to be held in the Carlsbad Cemetery on Thursday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bob Barndt, St. Peter Lutheran Church, is to officiate. BPO Elks Lodge 1558 also plans to conduct a graveside service.
