RITES THURSDAY FOR SANSBURY Funeral services for Morris Earl Sansbury, 61, Chickasha, route two, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Chickasha Funeral Home Rev. Poe Williams, officiating. In failing health the past two years, Mr. Sansbury died at 8 a.m. today in a local hospital. He was born May 17, 1893 in Midland City, Ala., and had been a resident of Chickasha the past 11 years coming here from Oklahoma City where he had resided from 1929 to 1944. Mr. Sansbury owned and operated the Morris Garage south of Chickasha on U. S. 81 until 1950. He had been employed at Tinker Air Force base until a year ago when he retired due to illness. From 1918 to 1924 Mr. Sansbury owned and operated a drug store in Wichita Falls, Tex. He is a veteran of World War I serving in the 9th Division, 167th Infantry. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Sansbury, who is associated with the local tag office; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Boswell. 1602 South 14th, two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Yarborough and Mrs. Ada Kennedy, Ft. Worth, Tex. and one grandaughter. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of Chickasha Funeral Home.
