Spouse: Billie Donna Calverley (married 1958 in Collin Co., TX) Mr. Jim Wallis, age 74, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 7, 2009, in McKinney. Jim was born on August 26, 1935, in McKinney, Texas, to Bailey Lee and Carita Belle (Joplin) Wallis. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jim was a wonderful husband for almost fifty-two years. He was a great father, and dearly loved all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jim always had a smile on his face. Mr. Wallis is survived by his wife, Donna Wallis of McKinney, TX; daughter, Trudy Rae & her husband John Hester of Allen, TX; son, Tonny L. Wallis and his wife Tammy of Red Oak, TX; grandchildren, Lindsey Hester, Melanie Hester, Trista Hunter, Tate Wallis, Shannon Jordan, Taylor Wallis, and Travis Wallis; great-grandchildren, Dallas Vicknair, Jaydan Vicknair, Zoey Ellis, Brody Hunter, Trot Jordan, and Greyson Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bailey and Carita Wallis, brother, Howell Lee Wallis, and great-grandson, Xavier Ellis. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2009, in the Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. Gary Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home
