Bio

Albert "Bill" Roach, of Broken Bow, Nebraska, died on Wed, Nov 1, 1989, at the Riverside Hospital, Wichita, Kansas, from cancer. Bill was born on May 22, 1938 in Spalding, Nebraska, to William F. Roach and Icey M. Webb. Bill spent his childhood in the Spalding area. In his early teens, he moved to the Bartlett and Primrose, Nebraska area where he lived for a number of years. Roach later moved to the state of South Dakota where he was employed as a truck-driver. On April 15, 1967 in Grand Island, Nebraska, he was married to Ellen M. Janssen. They lived in the states of Colorado and South Dakota and many different communities in the state of Nebraska. Since 1985, they had lived in Broken Bow, Nebraska, where Mr. Roach had been employed as a farmhand. At the time of his death, he was employed in Kansas state. Roach was preceded in death by his parents and one son. Survivors are: wife and sons, Michael, Jeffery and Gary Roach, all of Broken Bow, Nebraska, and daughter, Carolyn, also of Broken Bow, Nebraska. Burial was in the West Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Grand Island, Nebraska. Contributor: LF (#46527899)
