Bio

Frank F. Dick, 72, of Henderson, died Tuesday at a Greensburg, KS hospital. He had been in failing health for a number of years. Born Jan. 17 1892, the son of Frank C. and Sara DeFehr Dick, he had spent his lifetime in the Henderson community. He had 3 brothers, John F.C. Dick of Henderson, Paul Dick of Reedley, CA. and August Dick of Caldwell, Idaho and one sister, Anna Schierling of Burbank, CA. He was married first to Anna Kliewer (who died after giving birth to Anna). They had 3 children: Fredwick W. Dick 1914-1970 August Alfred Dick 1916-2000 Anna Dick Anslinger 1918-2001 Frank then married Marie Pankratz Huebert on Oct. 12, 1920. Marie's first husband, Peter E. Huebert, died of the flu in 1918. They had 3 children: Gladys Huebert Friesen 1911-2010 Freda Huebert Epp 1915-2012 Reinold Pete Huebert 1918-2007 Frank and Marie Dick had one son together, Harry Richard Van Dyck 1921-1999 (buried in Denton, Texas.)
