Bio

Cornelius was born in Margenau, Molotschna, the son of Franz Dick (1795-1867) and Anna Woelk (1802-1874). He married Justina Loewen in Margenau, and they were blessed with 5 children, with the loss of their oldest son. The family arrived on 2 Jul 1878 in New York aboard the SS Strassburg, and settled in Henderson, Nebraska.
