Bio

June 8 1922, Bloomington, IN Samuel Monroe Crites accidentally shot himself yesterday. [May 30 1922] They had been having trouble with birds in their cherry trees and while walking behind the house he tripped and accidentally discharged his gun. He killed almost instantly. He was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Levi Crites of Olney, IL. His mother died several years ago. He is survived by his father, wife [Nettie] and 2 sons; Welby, age 20 and Loren 18.
