Published in the Athens Review July 12, 1945 Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah E. Venable, 77, who died Tuesday morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home in Murchison after a brief illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The services were held at the First Baptist Church in Murchison. Burial was in the Red Hill cemetery. Mrs. Venable, resident of Murchison for many years, was born in Wood county. surviving are her husband, W.O. Venable and one brother, S.W. Skipper of Quannah.
