Bio
Kirk was the son of Kenneth Deloyd Duncan and Princess Jeannete (Horn) Duncan. He attended school at Burleson, Texas. Kirk was a self employed truck driver. He loved driving his truck wasn't just a job it was his life. Survivors include his father, Kenneth Duncan and wife Joyce of Tyler, TX; children, Kirk Michael Duncan Jr. of Hughes Springs, TX and Azzie Lee Byler of Payne Springs, TX; siblings, Darlene Chandler and husband Greg of Kemp, TX, Nancy Baker and husband Nolan of Kemp, TX, Nita Lawson and husband Red of Caney, OK, Debbie Rowell of Ft. Worth, TX, Arthur Tucker and wife Debra of Alvarado, TX, Vera Campbell of Atoka, OK, Janice Jackson and husband Glenn of Alvarado, TX and Bruce Lumas and wife Rhonda; grandchildren, Chauncey and Krystin Byler and Jaxon Duncan. He was preceded in death by his mother; step mother, Vera Duncan; siblings, Loyd Duncan, Keith Duncan, Janet Gail Duncan, Chuck Lumas, and Jerry Lumas; his wife, Betty Duncan and grandparents, Leva Horn, John Henry Duncan and Jesse Faye Duncan. Services will be Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at 2 pm at Brown's Funeral Chapel with interment at Caney Cemetery. Bro. Arvel Hall will officiate. Pallbearers will be Danny Wilp, Mike Trantham, Tommy Trammell Jr., Hank Lawson, Robert German and David Hing. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Ridell, Clay Lawson, Roger Prater, Jeff Robinson, and all of his Truckin Buddies.
